Bath Children’s Literature Festival – Once Upon a Murder 150 150 Peter Bell

Turn detective with P.G. Bell, bestselling author of The Train to Impossible Places series, as he adds some foul play to a classic fairy tale. Learn how his new whodunnit, The Beanstalk Murder, puts a witchy twist on the world of Jack & the Beanstalk; how the book came to life in an old Cardiff stable yard; and how to cast some authentic Welsh spells! (Results not guaranteed.)

P.G. then invites you to re-imagine some of your favourite fairytales as murder mysteries – choose your victim, nominate a detective, and follow the clues to the solution! The event concludes with a Q&A session – your chance to really put P.G. on the spot.

October Half Term at The Postal Museum

October Half Term at The Postal Museum 1000 563 Peter Bell

My friends at The Postal Museum are bringing the Impossible Places to London this October half term, with five days of family activities inspired by Delivery to the Lost City.  The fun starts on Wednesday 27th in the bustling underground Mail Rail depot, where I’ll be reading from the book, talking a bit about the magic of travelling post offices, and signing copies. The depot will then play host to storytelling events and craft activities for the rest of the week.

All activities are included with your ticket to the museum. Please follow the link below for full details, and to purchase your ticket.
